Before reaching the Super Bowl, NFL teams need to win their respective conferences first, which allows bettors to add more futures to their season-long portfolios. Placing wagers in this market can help bettors hedge their Super Bowl futures or add even more profit if they happen to place the right bets for both markets.
As the season goes on, these odds will shift quite a bit due to injuries or teams exceeding or falling short of expectations. Below, weโll take a look at the odds of winning both the AFC and NFC across all the top sportsbooks in Louisiana.

Kansas City Chiefs: Since 2019, the Chiefs have been AFC Champions four times. There is no denying that this Chiefs team has turned into a dynasty behind Patrick Mahomes, and there are no signs of them slowing down heading into this season.
Despite losing Rashee Rice for the season, the Chiefs just keep finding ways to close out games, as they are now 5-0 after their win on Monday Night Football against the Saints. While a lot of people think offense with the Chiefs, it has been their defense that has gotten them their undefeated record.
Baltimore Ravens: Despite falling to 0-2 on the season, the Ravens were a team that many expected to be just fine, and Baltimore has proven those people correct over the past two weeks. Since their win over the Cowboys in week three, the Ravens are now on a four-game winning streak following their victory over the Commanders.
Buffalo Bills: There was a lot of discussion heading into the season about whether or not the Bills could maintain their control over the AFC East. Well, after a comeback win in week one and a blowout wins over the Dolphins and Jaguars, the Bills were in an excellent spot until they struggled mightily on Sunday Night Football against the Ravens. Buffalo is still in an excellent place in the AFC East, though, as they were able to go into the Meadowlands and hand the Jets a loss.

San Francisco 49ers: The 49ers flat-out dominated the NFC last season, and now theyโll enter this year with an even more experienced Brock Purdy. While San Francisco did not miss a beat in week one, they struggled on the road in Minnesota and in LA. Overall, the 49ers are one of the more surprising teams with three notches in the loss column, but they will be heading into their matchup with the Chiefs on a high note, as they are coming off a road win in Seattle.
Detroit Lions: For quite a while, the Lions have sat at the bottom of the odds board for this market, but with Jared Goff reinventing himself, the Lions are in an excellent spot to continue their ascension to the top of the league. With the ultimate motivator in Dan Campbell running the show, the Lions' main focus this season has to be improving their defense, which could not stop anyone last postseason. The Lions put on an absolute dominant performance in Dallas against the Cowboys, and they will now play Minnesota in a highly anticipated divisional battle.
Minnesota Vikings: It doesn't matter if they are in America or Europe; the Minnesota Vikings just keep winning. With a win over the Jets, the Vikings have moved to 5-0 on the season behind Sam Darnold's resurgence. With Darnold taking advantage of the weapons on offense and Brian Flores controlling the defense, Minnesota is in a good spot moving forward. In week seven, the Vikings will face arguably their toughest test of the season, as they'll host the Lions.
