Before reaching the Super Bowl, NFL teams need to win their respective divisions first, which allows bettors to add more futures to their season-long portfolios. Placing wagers in this market can help bettors hedge their Super Bowl futures or add even more profit if they happen to place the right bets for both markets.
As the season goes on, these odds will shift quite a bit due to injuries or teams exceeding or falling short of expectations. Below, we’ll take a look at the odds of winning both the AFC and NFC across all the top sportsbooks in Louisiana.

Kansas City Chiefs: Since 2019, the Chiefs have been AFC Champions four times. There is no denying that this Chiefs team has turned into a dynasty behind Patrick Mahomes, and there are no signs of them slowing down heading into this season. With Mahomes getting better weapons this season, we will likely see their offense become one of the best in the league again, so it will be up to their defense to continue their success from last year.
Baltimore Ravens: For most of last season, it looked as if Lamar Jackson would be reaching his first Super Bowl. While that was not the case, Baltimore is still in an excellent spot to have continued success this season, as they added Derrick Henry in free agency, and their defense is posed to be one of the best in football once again.
Cincinnati Bengals: The Bengals and Joe Burrow were the only team over the last five years to defeat the Chiefs in the AFC Title game. Injuries derailed them last season, but Cincinnati is fully healthy heading into this season. They have already shown they can knock off the kings of the AFC, so with an improved offensive line, Cincinnati could certainly return to the Super Bowl this season.

San Francisco 49ers: The 49ers flat-out dominated the NFC last season, and now they’ll enter this year with an even more experienced Brock Purdy. Offensively, the 49ers should be just as good as last season, so it will be up to their defense to stay healthy if they want to return to the Super Bowl and actually lift the Lombardi Trophy at the end of the game.
Detroit Lions: For quite a while, the Lions have sat at the bottom of the odds board for this market, but with Jared Goff reinventing himself, the Lions are in a good spot to continue their ascension to the top of the league. With the ultimate motivator in Dan Campbell running the show, the Lions' main focus this season has to be improving their defense, which could not stop anyone last postseason.
Philadelphia Eagles: The Eagles had somewhat of a down year last season, as they fell apart down the stretch. On top of that, they did lose their leader, Jason Kelce, to retirement, but that doesn’t mean Jalen Hurts can’t bounce back this season with his new backfield mate Saquon Barkley behind him. By improving their secondary through the draft, Philadelphia could very well get back on track this season.
