2024 MLB League Winner Odds
Becoming a World Series champion is the goal for all MLB teams, but winning a pennant is nothing to brush off. Before teams can fight for a World Series ring, they must first complete the pennant in their respective league, which is another bragging point for fans arguing which franchise is historically better.
Last season, we saw two teams that were not expected to reach the World Series do so, but so far this season, the top teams in the league have been playing in a way that makes it seem like we may have two powerhouse franchises fighting for a championship. New York Yankees: Every team, no matter how talented they are, will hit a rough patch during the grueling MLB regular season. Well, for the New York Yankees, that time is now, as they've lost or split in seven consecutive series. On the bright side, the Yankees still have Aaron Judge leading the offense, but at the same time, for as good as he's been, the rest of the team needs to step up if they want to regain their momentum.
Baltimore Orioles: The Orioles youth movement was on full display last season, but this year, they look ready to take over the league. Behind Gunnar Henderson and Adley Rutschman, the Orioles offense is first in the league in OPS+ (123) and home runs (146). Not to mention, the ace of their pitching staff, Corbin Burnes, also has the second-best odds to win the AL Cy Young.
Cleveland Guardians: In their first season with Stephen Vogt as their manager, the Cleveland Guardians just keep winning. With their ability to get on base, Cleveland has built a nice lead in the AL Central and is currently 7th in the league in average runs per game (4.90) and 4th in average runs allowed per game (3.82).

Los Angeles Dodgers: By adding Shohei Ohtani this season, the Dodgers became one step closer to fielding an All-Star team. While losing Mookie Betts to a fractured hand is certainly a big loss, the Dodgers have still built a big lead in the NL West and currently rank 4th in hard-hit percentage (42.4%) and 3rd in home run percentage (3.5%)
Philadelphia Phillies: The current Phillies' core group of players has already proven they can reach the World Series, and the scary part for the rest of the league is that they look even better this season. Philadelphia currently has four pitchers inside the top ten for Cy Young odds, including current favorite Zack Wheeler. While the Phillies themselves have been plagued with injuries over the past few weeks, it certainly hasn't stopped them.
Atlanta Braves: So far this season, the Braves have lost their ace and best player to season-ending injuries. While Atlanta remains at the top of the league in hard-hit percentage, the rest of their offensive statistics sit near the league average, which is shocking considering how dominant their offense was last season. Even with their offense not scoring runs like they did last season, Atlanta has still put themselves in a position to secure one of the top wild-card spots.
