Current Favorites

Georgia Bulldogs: Losing to Alabama in the SEC Title game cost the Georgia Bulldogs an opportunity to win their third straight National Championship. While the Bulldogs did lose some big-time contributors on both sides of the ball to the NFL Draft, they have one of the Heisman favorites, Carson Beck, under center.

The Bulldogs opened their season with a blowout win over Clemson, holding them to just 3 points. While they followed it up with a blowout win over an FCS opponent, the Bulldogs had their first scare of the season in week three, as they narrowly escaped the Kentucky Wildcats with a 13-12 win on the road. In that win, UGA managed to score just one touchdown, but the good news is that they are entering a bye week before they head to Alabama to take on the Crimson Tide.

Ohio State Buckeyes: By Ohio State’s recent standards, they are coming off a down year, and by that, I mean they lost to Michigan, and after failing to make the CFP, they lost their bowl game. The Buckeyes also lost a few big-name players like Marvin Harrison Jr., but they’ll have the number one receiver from this recent recruiting class to fill in and be a primary target for their new quarterback, Will Howard.

The Buckeyes started the Will Howard era off with a bang, winning 52-6 over Akron and 56-0 over Western Michigan. Ohio State had a bye week in week three, but they will resume action this weekend when they host the Marshall Thundering Herd.

Texas Longhorns: In arguably the biggest game of the season through the first two weeks, the Texas Longhorns went into the Big House and embarrassed the defending National Champion, Michigan Wolverines. The Longhorns carried that momentum into week three with a 56-7 win over UTSA. While the Longhorns' defense continues to look dominant, Texas did lose Quinn Ewers to an abdominal injury, which has him "week-to-week." This means Arch Manning will run the offense until Ewers returns.
