The Aces star averaged almost four more points per game than the second-leading scorer in the league, as he remains dominant in that aspect. Wilson also finished second in the league in rebounding, as her ability to be an all-around player makes her a tough person to knock off for this award.

Caitlin Clark (Indiana Fever): Even with how good Wilson is, Clark solidified herself as the face of the WNBA in her rookie season. If voters considered viewership numbers, the Fever guard likely would have won more than just Rookie of the Year. Clark finished 7th in the league this season in points per game with an average of 19.2, but she also broke the rookie assist record, averaging 8.4 per game. As her comfort level in the league grows, the question is not when Clark will win the MVP but how many times she will win it.

Napheesa Collins (Minnesota Lynx): Behind her 20.4 PPG, Collins led her team to the WNBA Finals in 2024. Like Wilson, the Lynx star does everything well on the court, pulling down 9.7 rebounds per game. Collins is one of the purest scoring threats in the league, shooting 49.2% from the field in 2024, and after falling short of a title, there is no denying she will enter 2025 highly motivated.
