One of the futures markets that can provide the biggest payouts in the NFL doesn’t involve players; instead, it is centered around coaches. This narrative-driven award typically sees a ton of movement on the odds board throughout the season and is not just handed to the coach with the most wins, which allows for some long-shot opportunities throughout the season.
The 2024-25 season should be no different, with multiple new head coaches joining or re-joining the league. With the NFL season underway, NFL bettors can dive into the current board.

Dan Quinn (Washington Commanders): Coaches who can win games and find success with rookie quarterbacks usually fit the narrative of this award. In his first year in Washington, Dan Quinn and his rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels are sitting with a 7-2 record after their win over the Giants. Offensively, Washington has been one of the better teams in the league, so the only thing that could hold them back against strong competition is their defense, which is 26th in DVOA, per FTNFantasy.
Andy Reid (Kansas City Chiefs): It took almost half the season, but Andy Reid has officially cracked the top three on the odds board for this award, as his team is currently 8-0. Sure, narrative can go a long way with this award, but so can winning, and Reid just keeps winning, no matter how many injuries his team suffers. If KC can continue to dominate, then Reid will likely stay in the mix for this award through the rest of the season.
Dan Campbell (Detroit Lions): Turning a franchise around significantly helps a coach regarding this award. While Campbell has gradually turned the Lions organization around, he still has Detroit as the favorite to win the NFC, as they just moved to 8-1 on the year. Campbell is no stranger to the top of the odds board for this award, and while it will be tough for him to break through this season, as long as the Lions keep winning in a dominant fashion, then anything can happen.
