Connor McDavid (Edmonton Oilers): Five players in NHL history have won the Conn Smythe without their team winning the Stanley Cup, but if Edmonton loses game seven, Connor McDavid may still be able to join that limited group. With 11 points in this series, McDavid not only has 42 points this postseason but he's fully given the Oilers a chance to complete a miraculous comeback.
Aleksander Barkov (Florida Panthers): Barkov started off the series strong, and after being held without a point in games four and five, he was able to find the back of the net in game six for his second goal and fifth point of the series. One of the biggest reasons Barkov was favored to win this award at one point was his defense, but with Edmonton scoring at will over the last few games, that aspect of his game has not made much of an impact.
Sergei Bobrovsky (Florida Panthers): Bobrovsky managed a save percentage of .914 or better through the series' first three games, but every game since has been a different story. After game three, Bobrovsky was a massive favorite to bring home the Conn Smythe, but he has allowed 12 goals over the past three games, and now he has all the pressure on him to close out the series in front of his home crowd.
