Drafters has been a part of the DFS market since 2016, providing customers with a highly responsive app that features a handful of enjoyable and entertaining contests. As of right now, the only states that don’t offer this products real money contests are Missouri, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Hawaii, and Connecticut.

All other states in the U.S. and Canada have access to this product, which has been slowly growing into a trusted app in the DFS community. The ability to compete in both short-term and long-term contests gives customers a reason to use the product daily, so they can compete in the creative contests available for a nice range of popular leagues.

Not only can customers compete in a wide range of contests, but they can also create their own contests down to the very last detail. Users can then use the “News” section to let all users of the app know about the contest, which is a function that can’t really be found on other DFS products.

The ability to create contests or participate in the wide range of already available contests makes it so the fun never has to stop. If, for some reason, a problem does occur when using the product, customers can contact the impressive customer support team over email and will receive a timely response.

Available Sports, Leagues, And Contests

There are three primary contests that can typically be found on a DFS product, and they are best ball drafts, pick’em, and daily/weekly draft contests. All three of those options are available on the Drafters app across a few leagues, including the NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, PGA Tour, and MMA.

Since the product offers both best ball and daily drafts, users have the option to participate in both short-term and long-term drafts. These drafts can be filtered by the number of opponents, entry price, and contest style.

In general, if a user has used a DFS product before, then it will take no time at all to get used to this product and the contests offered. At the same time, customers who have never participated in a DFS contest before should also be able to get a hang of all the contests on this app quickly since they are all simple and offer general scoring information and rules prior to entry.

Best Ball

If you’ve ever wanted a fantasy team but didn’t want to constantly make changes throughout the season, then best ball is the contest to enter. When using the Drafters app, customers can enter season-long best ball contests that either consist of just a small group of people and a prize pool that consists of everyone's buy-in, or they can enter one of the big tournaments this product holds, like the Best Ball Championship for football that offers a $50,000 prize pool with a $5.50 entry fee.

Scoring for these contests is just like most other DFS products, so for football, each contest is PPR and allows for only a certain number of players for each position.

Pick’Em

One of the simplest and most common contests in the DFS market is Pick’Em, and on Drafters, it is available for every league that is offered on the app. Customers simply just need to pick if a player will go over or under a specific stat line, and the more picks in an entry, the higher the payout.

The maximum amount of picks that customers can put on an entry is eight, which warrants a 100x payout. Customers do have the option to turn on the safety button for each entry, which lowers the final payout but does offer some sort of payout if a customer were to get three or four picks correct instead of a full five, for example.

GPP Tournaments

Users looking for a big bang for their buck can check out GPP Tournaments, which allow customers to win a bigger prize off a single team. Customers will draft a team in groups of four to six, and instead of their team competing against just their group, they will compete against a larger field. These contests may last a day or a few days, depending on the contest, and multiple entries are allowed.

Drafters also offers a survivor version of this contest, which is multiple rounds, and customers need to beat the group they drafted against to move on to the next round instead of just beating the entire field.

Rank’Em Contest

Rank’em is a different take on a daily draft from Drafters that takes the Pick’em game mode and turns it into a team. Instead of drafting a team, users will select six players and rank them in a slot. Each slot has a different multiplier, meaning a player put in the top spot will have a 6X multiplier, so this player would be the person you are projecting to score the most points.

The lower slotted a player is, the lower their multiplier would be, and each team has two reserve spots. This is a quick and easy way to participate in a daily contest without having to wait for others to draft.

Classic Tiers

This is a PGA-specific contest that allows Drafters users to select a certain number of players from each tier to form their team for a given PGA tournament. Teams can be edited until the tournament starts, so players can tinker with their lineup until the first golfer takes his first shot.

The scoring is simply the added total of the golfer's strokes, and if a golfer ends up not competing, then he is assigned at (+8), which could greatly affect a customer's team.

Drafters Payment And Withdrawal Options

Customers have two payment options when using the Drafters app, which are either PayPal or credit cards. These may not seem like a lot, but this is typical for DFS apps when it comes to payment methods. Of course, it would be nice to see these products start to offer more options to make the process easier for their customers, but at the very least, it is a positive that this app offers both an e-wallet option and credit cards.

When looking to make a withdrawal, customers can do so through PayPal, and the minimum requirement is $20. There is a chance the product will ask for identification verification for users in order to make a withdrawal, which is common but must be done within ten days of the request, or the withdrawal with be cancelled, and the user's account will be suspended.

Additional information about payments and withdrawals is not readily available on the product’s app or website, but in general, withdrawals through PayPal are very quick and should be paid out in a timely manner.

Downloading The Drafters Fantasy App

Downloading the Drafters app on iPhone can be done from the App Store, while Android users can download the app directly from the product’s website. Since the app is not available on the Google Play Store, there are no reviews for the Android version, but on the App Store, the product has a 3.9 out of 5-star rating.

As far as the app itself, the overall look is very simple and offers an efficient way to navigate through the available sports and contests on a given day. With an advanced filter button on the right side of the app, customers can quickly input the type of contests they are looking for instead of scrolling and clicking all over.

With everything organized by price, contest, or sport, the product is very user-friendly. Over time, the product has also become far more responsive. When we first started using the app a while back, we at times had problems with crashing, but as of late, we’ve had nothing but good experiences with the responsiveness more matter how many contests we are entering in a given session.

Web Platform

When using the Drafters web platform, DFS users can expect the same layout and look as the app. All contests in the lobby are neatly laid out and can be easily sorted, just like they can on the mobile version, allowing customers to quickly get to the contest they want and begin drafting.

Simplicity is a big thing with this website, making it easy for any new customers to get accustomed to. Not only is learning the ins and outs of the product easy, but the impressive responsiveness of the website takes away the fear of crashing or lagging during a draft or extended periods of use.
