When the SuperDraft app launched in 2019, it was joining a crowded DFS market, but the creative contests and ideas have helped it grow into a highly-rated product. The user-friendly app can be found for both iPhone and Android devices and is available in the U.S. and Canada.

The app's availability in each state depends on what contest a customer is trying to enter, as users in AK, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, MS, NC, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NY, OH, OK, OR, RI, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, VT, WI, WV, and Canada can participate in paid entry drafts. A few of those states do not allow users to participate in player prop pick contests, and they include AZ, WA, MT, ID, NV, IA, MO, IN, OH, PA, MS, LA, HI, TN, WV, ME, NH, CT, NJ, DE, MD & FL.

Since it is available in a wide range of states, the app has developed a strong reputation for both its variety of contests and just overall user-friendliness of the app. New and experienced DFS users will both be able to appreciate the overall layout of the product along with the creative game modes available.

Like most DFS products, this app doesn’t offer a good selection of payment methods, but it does make it for it in other ways. When it comes down to it, the overall make-up of the product has it set up to be successful in the market for a long time.

Available Sports, Leagues, And Contests

Many DFS products offer carbon copy contests in each of their products, but the SuperDraft app is doing everything in their power to make sure they don’t just follow the rest of the market. There are three main game modes on the product, which include Fantasy Props, Jackpot Props, and traditional daily fantasy drafts.

When it comes to fantasy props, the idea is very simple and requires customers to predict the over/under for a player's specific stat. The more picks per entry, the higher the payout a customer can get. It’s the same concept for the Jackpot contest, but it is much harder to win that contest, as users must make 12 selections, and until someone gets all 12 correct, the Jackpot keeps growing.

Where the real variety comes in is with the daily fantasy drafts, these short-term drafts can be done in a number of ways, as there are four game modes and six different types of contests. Across every contest offered on the product, customers can find them for the MLB, NBA, WNBA, NFL, CFB, MMA, NASCAR, and golf.

Contest Types

There are six different contests customers can enter, and they will all be labeled so it’s easy to navigate them. Players can compete in “Tournaments,” which are large contests with over 100 entries, or they can do “Head-to-Head” contests and compete with just one other person. “Satellite” contests allow customers the chance to win free entry into larger tournaments if they win the event.

Customers looking for the biggest bang for their buck can check out “Boosters,” which are contests that allow users to win 2x or 3x more than their entry fee. New customers can participate in “Beginner” drafts, which are for those just learning to play, or they can try “Freerolls,” which are free to enter practice contests.

Multiplier Game Mode

The multiplier game mode is a traditional contest, except the players are assigned a multiplier value based on their value. This could mean Bryce Harper has a 2x multiplier, meaning the player would get all of their points multiplied by 2.

Super 15 Game Mode

One of the more challenging game modes offered, the Super 15 has players drafting teams with just a $15 salary cap and a limited player pool.

Champion Mode

This is a five-player draft that includes four flex players and one “Champion.” The Champion player selected will score an additional 50% of their multiplier, so customers must choose this player wisely in order to win.

Salary Cap

The most traditional of all the game modes has players drafting a lineup with an $80,000 salary cap, which does not all have to be used. All player values are determined by the product.

SuperDraft Payment And Withdrawal Options

DFS products rarely offer a solid amount of payment options to their customers, and while that is still the case with the SuperDraft app, as long as a customer has a Visa, Mastercard, or Discover card, they can make a deposit. Typically, one would like to see an e-wallet or online banking method offered, but the process of making a deposit on the app with a credit card is very efficient.

When customers go to make a withdrawal, the product will process it and send the requested amount right to a customer's bank account using ACH. For Canadian users who do not use an American bank they can contact support and have their withdrawals sent to them via checks through the mail.

Withdrawals have a minimum amount of $10, and it can take 2-8 days for an ACH withdrawal to be completed and 1-8 days for an e-check withdrawal. All funds must be deposited and withdrawn via USD, as that is the only currency accepted on the product.

Once a customer downloads the product, it won’t take long to see why it has such good reviews from both iPhone and Android users. The overall layout of the product makes it very easy to navigate and find any particular contest or sport a customer may be looking for. With a user-friendly design, learning the intricacies of the product takes no time at all, which allows more time to actually enjoy the experience.

When it comes to responsiveness, we didn’t have any issues with lagging, glitching, or freezing during our time with the product. The only issue we ran into at times was the app was occasionally slow to open and would sometimes take a second try before it would actually launch into the home screen of the app.

Web Platform

If customers prefer to handle all of their fantasy sports-related business on their computers, then they’ll be able to use the SuperDraft web platform. The website itself looks pretty identical to the mobile version; it is just a bit more spread out. Everything a customer would be able to do on the app, they’ll be able to do on the web platform.

In our time with the website, we found it very user-friendly and easy to use. Everything on the platform is well laid out, and no matter how long we spent making picks, the website did not slow down on us or begin to lag.
