Yes! Locker is fully licensed DFS app that must follow all safety measures required of daily fantasy products.
Creativity and ingenuity go a long way in standing out in a crowded DFS scene. Well, the new Locker app certainly has both of those qualities. Recently launched in 31 U.S. states and Canada, Locker DFS brings fans a much more hands-on daily fantasy experience for the NFL while also providing the ability to participate in traditional fantasy leagues and contests like Pick’em.
DFS fanatics looking for a new way to make money in the market can download the Locker app from either the App Store or Google Play Store, as it is available for both Apple and Android devices. Since the product was released recently in 2024, it is still building a reputation and fan base, but the initial reviews for the app should make the creators of the product feel like they are heading in the right direction.
The product itself is very centered around the NFL, as all of the contests and leagues outside of Pick’em are limited just to football. Since most DFS users tend to gravitate towards the NFL, this strategy works just fine. If you mix that with the fact that the app is incredibly simple to use and provides contests exclusive to the product, it would be unsurprising to see the app make noise in the market over time.
Sure, DFS fans can create or join season-long leagues and make Pick’em entries on most products, but they cannot participate in contests that allow them to focus on specific drives in an NFL game. Through two separate contests, fans can predict player performances on a drive-to-drive basis for either just a quarter or an entire game. So, while the options in terms of leagues may be lacking, these creative contests help make up for it.
Daily fantasy sports fans have three categories they can choose from on the Locker app. They can either compete in contests, join or create leagues, and enter Pick’em entries. Of the three options, the contests stand out from the rest of the DFS market, as these games cannot be found anywhere else outside of the Locker app.
Contests can only be done for NFL games. They allow users to compete in either “Primetime” or “Blitz 50-50,” both of which require users to predict a player's performance on a drive-by-dive basis for either a quarter, half the game, or the entire game.
Locker Picks is the other short-term contest option on the app. These contests can be entered for multiple leagues like the NFL, NBA, MLB, and NHL, requiring users to pick more or less on 2-7 player stats. The more picks a customer makes in an entry, the higher the payout could be. Lastly, leagues are traditional fantasy leagues for the NFL that last the entire season. Users can either join public leagues or create their own leagues and be the commissioner.
Daily fantasy apps do not typically give their customers a wide range of payment options to choose from. Between that and the fact that Locker is new to the market, their customers have minimal options in this field. Currently, the product only allows customers to make deposits and withdrawals with debit cards from American Express, Discover, Mastercard, and Visa.
While these options are very limiting for users, at the end of the day, most users tend to use debit cards to fund their DFS or sportsbook accounts. When depositing or withdrawing money from a Locker account, customers are subject to a minimum of $10 for both areas. However, if a customer has less than $10 in his account, they can withdraw whatever is left from their account.
All withdrawals are free no matter how much a customer takes out, and they typically take between 48 and 72 hours to process. Overall, we would not be shocked to see the payment/withdrawal options increase over time as the product continues to grow and expand.

DFS fans looking to try out a new product can download the Locker app from either the App Store or Google Play Store. While it is still early, the product has a 4.5 out of 5-star rating on the App Store and a 3.3 out of 5-star rating on the Google Play Store. However, these numbers will certainly change as the product grows and expands.
The app itself has a straightforward layout that makes it easy to navigate between different NFL games for DFS purposes and to access any leagues a customer may join. The product currently only has three sections, including “Games, Leagues, and Profile,” making it easy to move seamlessly throughout the app. Each section is displayed in large fonts and is very cut and dry, so there is no time wasted looking for a specific game or league.
During our time with the app, we found that it operated with minimal glitching or lagging. No matter what we were doing or how long we spent on the app, there was never a time we felt like the product would crash or could not keep up with what we were doing. Whether this app is the first DFS product a customer uses or the tenth.
Before we get into our experience with the Locker app, it is essential to note that this product is still very fresh on the market, so many things can change or be added over time. Although it is early in the app's release, we believe this product has the potential to stand out in the market over time, thanks to its simplicity and creativity. The ability to participate in DFS on such a specific level of drive-to-drive in the NFL brings a captivating and exciting innovation to a market that can sometimes feel repetitive.
Of course, we also appreciate the fact that users can also participate in traditional season-long fantasy leagues or common DFS contests like Pick'em. While it may be challenging to do the app-specific contests with a sport other than football, we would, however, like to see more leagues and sports added for season-long leagues and the Pick'em contests, as that is one area this product is lacking compared to the rest of the market.
Overall, for a new product, the app is very high quality and runs efficiently on a stable internet connection. Since most users who will use this product have likely never found contests this hands-on before, the app's simple layout and design make it much easier to learn and understand the intricacies of all the contests.
