Over the past few seasons, the same teams have sat atop the World Series odds board for a large majority of the year. However, as we saw last year with the Diamondbacks vs. Rangers World Series, value can be found when taking a future bet on a team outside the top five favorites.
Currently, the Yankees and Dodgers sit atop most odds boards, as both teams hold home-field advantage in the Championship Series. With that, weโll lay out the 2024 World Series odds across most of the top sports betting apps in New York.

New York Yankees (+110 to +115): The battle for the AL East crown was a tight race between the Bronx Bombers and the young Baltimore Orioles. New York finally won that race down the stretch, which gave them an AL East title and the #1 seed in the American League.
New York opened the postseason with a narrow 3-1 series win over the Royals in the ALDS and has picked up a 2-0 lead over the Guardians in the ALCS. After two wins at home, the Yankees will look to close out the series in Cleveland, as they will ride Clarke Schmidt and Luis Gil on the mound.
Los Angeles Dodgers (+110 to +125): With their backs against the wall, the LA Dodgers pitching staff came up big and secured them a win in a decisive game five over the Padres. The Dodgers' pitching staff continued their dominance in game one of the NLCS, as they tied a postseason record with 33 consecutive scoreless innings. While that streak would end in a game two loss, the Dodgers immediately got back on track in game three with a blowout win in New York to give them a 2-1 series lead.
New York Mets (+550 to +850): The opening game of the NLCS did not go as the Mets planned, but like all great teams, they showed they have a short memory, as they built an early lead in game two and never looked back. Now, New York will need to keep that short memory since they fell by a considerable margin in game three at home. In the hopes of evening the series again, New York will turn to lefty Jose Quintana for game four.
