2024 MLB Stat Leader Odds | Home Run & Stolen Base

Home runs are a big part of what drives people to baseball, and there are certainly quite a few guys in the MLB who know a lot about them. While we may not have anyone on pace to break a home run record this season, more than a handful of players could be crowned the 2024 home run leader.

Currently, Aaron Judge is favored to lead the league, but one hot streak from another player could cause a drastic shift on the odds board. Down below, weโ€™ll look at home run leader odds for the 2024 season across all the top sportsbooks in Maryland.

Aaron Judge (New York Yankees): Judge started the season slow but has since returned to MVP form. The Yankees captain has started to put balls in the seats almost as often as he did during his record-breaking season, as he has 13 home runs in the past 28 days, which gives him 26 on the season.

Gunnar Henderson (Baltimore Orioles): For as good as Judge has been over the past month or so, Henderson has not fallen behind too far in this race. The Orioles shortstop is up to 22 on the season, which has him in sole possesion of second on the leaderboard. It's pretty clear that Henderson is here to stay in this race, so if he can remain consistent, he can be nipping at Judge's heels all season.

Shohei Ohtani (Los Angeles Dodgers): As it stands right now, Ohtani is tied for third in the league in home runs with 20. It was only a matter of time before his home run numbers spiked, so his seven home runs in the past month are unsurprising. Especially since he is in the 99th percentile in hard hit percentage and 98th percentile in barrel percentage.

2024 MLB Stolen Base Leader Odds

The new MLB rule changes have caused an influx of stolen bases, which has led to some impressive stolen base numbers as we inch closer to June. For right now, Reds phenom Elly De La Cruz is in firm control of the leaderboard and odds board for the stolen base crown, but with it being a long season, weโ€™ll break down this up-to-date odds board and whether or not anyone can outrun De La Cruz.

Elly De La Cruz (Cincinnati Reds): Five tool player is a saying used often in baseball, but it is rare for a player actually to fit that mold. De La Cruz is one of those players, though, as he has the power, arm, and certainly the legs. The Reds shortstop was the first player to reach 30 stolen bases this season, as he has only been caught stealing five times in 2024. As of right now, this race is his to lose.

Bobby Witt Jr. (Kansas City Royals): Witt Jr. is another five-tool guy and currently is third on the leaderboard with 16 stolen bags. The Royals shortstop has flashed more of his power this season, but he is currently on pace for a career-high OBP, so the chances will be there for him as the season goes on.

Brice Turang (Milwaukee Brewers): After an up-and-down rookie year, Brice Turang has really come into his own and has played a big factor in the Brewers' solid start to the season. Turang flashed his wheels during his rookie season, but this year, he has thrived on the base paths as he is up to 19 stolen bases.

Not only is Turang now tied for second in the league stolen bases, but he has only been caught stealing just once this season, which is the fewest caught stealings out of any player in the top five on the leaderboard.
